Full-Home Design in Park Ridge
Full-Home Design provides comprehensive interior design for your entire residence. We design all interior spaces, from initial concept through finishing touches, creating a cohesive home.
What we do
Our process begins with a Design consultation to understand your home's scope. We then present your design, including drawings and material concepts. Construction documents detail the design for your contractor, and Material selections specify all finishes and fixtures. We conduct Jobsite inspections as construction progresses, and add Finishing touches to complete your home.
Who it suits
This service suits newly built homes in Chicago, Southwest Michigan, or Atlanta. It is also for homeowners undertaking major renovations of existing houses, such as a historic bungalow in Atlanta or a lake house in Southwest Michigan.

Homes in Park Ridge
Many homes in Park Ridge are 1920s-1940s brick bungalows and two-story homes in areas like the South Park neighborhood, often with smaller, enclosed kitchens. We provide Kitchen Design to open up these spaces for modern living. The 1950s-1970s ranches and split-levels found near Maine East High School frequently have primary bathrooms with dated layouts, which we address with Bathroom Design. Homes built in the 1980s and 1990s in subdivisions like Bristol Park often feature unpainted oak trim and cabinetry, which we can update through Furnishing & Styling and Color Consultation.
What homeowners in Park Ridge ask for
Homeowners in Park Ridge often seek to update their 1920s-1940s kitchens, opening them to adjacent living areas. Many 1950s-1970s homes require a Full-Home Design approach to modernize layouts and finishes throughout. Basement Remodel projects are common in homes of various eras to add functional living space. We also frequently provide Bathroom Design for primary suites in homes from the 1980s and 1990s.

About the studio
Two sisters, one studio
Jennifer Peterson founded J. Peterson Design in 2008 and leads our work in Chicago and Southwest Michigan. Her sister, Jill Kearns, leads the Atlanta studio. Together, we design homes that feel considered and beautiful, but also comfortable, functional, and personal to the people who live in them.
Although we work in different cities, we operate as one studio. We talk through plans, share ideas, question each other, and bring another experienced set of eyes to the decisions that matter. Being sisters makes that collaboration especially natural — there is a shorthand, an honesty, and a shared standard that has been there long before the studio.
